Visiting London Town

Tower Bridge in London England

The third week in May the Mrs. and I boarded a plane and flew across the water to visit London. This was our first time to England and we thoroughly enjoyed it and will be going back as soon as we can. Scary part is just a few weeks after we were there they had two failed car bombs, both of which were at locations we walked by numerous times during the week.

And yes I did get some geocaching done in London; not many but enough to say I've cached in England.

If you want to see some photos, and there are a lot of them, click on the link to my Flickr site. When you get to the page click on the text "View as a slideshow". To see the captions for the pictures click on the faded "i" in the centre of the first picture once the slideshow starts.

Cache #1000

May 29 I found my 1,000th geocache! That's a lot of tupper ware to find in the bushes, good training for a peeping tom me thinks... :)

The cache is located in Williams Park in Langley and is called "This is Where My Addiction Began" waypoint code GCZVCW. It was hidden by a local cacher to commerate his first cache found in this very park, and signifies how addicting this sport can become. Not for me though, I can quit any time I want to.....I think....

BTW Ken found a couple of horse friends while we were at the cache site.
